About Us

Who We Are

We are part of One Community Organisation, a registered charity that works with and supports the Deaf, the Blind, and those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

In the Muslim world there is a lack of Islamic support and education for those with SEN. There are over 11 million Deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK, and at least 250,000 people living with both sight loss and dementia.

Unfortunately, 99% of all the Masjids in the world have no facilities for, and do not cater to, the Deaf/Blind and SEN communities.

Masab — Masjid As-Samee Al-Basir, the Masjid of the All-Hearing, the All-Seeing — is the centre that caters for all regardless of race, gender, disability or ability.
